Certainly one of the most beautiful palms, with its large, diamond-shaped leaves immediately catching the eye. These are surprisingly hard and have quite sharp edges. The underside of the leaves is silvery in this species and later two yellow stripes develop on the leaf stalks. Johannestejiamannias are quite sensitive to roots and prefer a shady location and plenty of water.
