This is the "original", long-known Beccariophoenix "Eastern form" with the so-called "windows" in the leaves of the young plants. These are openings that form between the individual leaflets while the leaves are still together at the leaf tip. A very beautiful and easy-care palm, which as a young plant is an absolute eye-catcher in any palm collection. Light green leaves. A bright to partially shaded location as a seedling. Does not tolerate drought very well. Undemanding regarding substrate. Very vigorous growth.
